Great opportunity to join this established, friendly, IT MSP covering London and the South East.  For the right proactive candidate, this vacancy offers an experienced 3rd line engineer the chance to be the technical lead for their SME clients to specify and deliver projects delivering genuine business benefits.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Great customer facing skills
  • Provide support to the IT service desk with 2nd/3rd Line escalations, resolving infrastructure related issues within SLA targets
  • Microsoft 365 implementation (email / SharePoint migration)
  • Experience with other Microsoft Cloud solutions (Azure services, Intune MDM, Conditional Access etc)
  • Good networking knowledge and understanding of switches, TCP/IP and routing.
  • Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019 implementation and administration to include AD, GPO, RDS, etc
  • Microsoft Server Hyper-V virtualisation, including server replication
  • Next generation firewalls, VPNs and secure Wi-Fi support experience – ideally based on the WatchGuard product suite
  • Perform proactive maintenance of Infrastructure environment as required
  • Create and maintain documentation

Candidates should possess excellent communication and customer care skills. While being a team player, they should be able to manage their own time and use their own initiative.

In addition to being able to deliver projects and support customer environments, the ideal candidate will also be able to take a technical lead with the customers they deal with to include understanding requirements and communicate potential solutions based on the company’s product portfolio to customers using non-technical language.
