Good morning to you! My role at Principal is 2nd line support specialist.
My role is to investigate, resolve and Proactively monitor printing issues, print solutions and IT issues. After a call is triaged by our ProACTive™ Triage team, it will be escalated to me to troubleshoot further if necessary and provide the next steps.
Today for example, I worked alongside our team to install a software solution. The product helps to encourage responsible printing therefore it helps save uneccesary costs. The next job was to fix a slow performing computer. I like it that two days are never the same!
There’s a great team atmosphere between us, we work really closely on issues which helps us provide the quick response times to our customers and make sure we keep the SLA’s set in the contracts. At Principal, I have a lot of exposure to working across different issues and am always learning something new.
My favourite has to be my first install of an advanced print solution product over a number of devices. It was my first time working on print solutions and I was so surprised by how much their printing efficiencies improved post installation.
